Rincón, Puerto Rico: Prepárate para vivir la máxima celebración del surf mientras el Legends Surf Classic regresa para su décima edición. Este evento altamente esperado, que se llevará a cabo del 24 al 28 de enero de 2024, promete un fin de semana lleno de emoción con olas, camaradería y un vibrante ambiente festivo.

Rodeado por la impresionante belleza de Rincón, conocido como la “Capital del Surf del Caribe”, este icónico evento reúne a legendarios surfistas de la era dorada del deporte. Pero el Legends Surf Classic es mucho más que un simple concurso; es un festival que captura la esencia de la cultura del surf.
Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Rincon, known as the “Surfing Capital of the Caribbean,” this iconic event brings together legendary surfers from the golden era of the sport. But the Legends Surf Classic is much more than just a contest; it’s a festival that captures the essence of surfing culture.
El festival incluye una presentación de diapositivas el 26 de enero en el Teatro de la Ciudad de Rincón, que muestra la rica historia y el estado moderno del surf en Rincón y en todo Puerto Rico. Con fotografías históricas de Norman Grosskreutz e imágenes contemporáneas de Rachel Tanner y el maestro fotógrafo de surf Gonzo González, esta presentación es una oportunidad para presenciar la evolución del surf y rendir homenaje a los pioneros que han allanado el camino.
The festival includes a slide show on 1/26 at the Rincon City Theater, showcasing the rich history and modern state of surfing in Rincon and throughout Puerto Rico. With historic photos by Norman Grosskreutz and contemporary images by Rachel Tanner and master surf photographer Gonzo Gonzalez, this presentation is an opportunity to witness the evolution of surfing and pay homage to the pioneers who’ve paved the way.
A lo largo del fin de semana, los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de disfrutar de deliciosa cocina local, fomentando un sentido de compañerismo y conexión. Es un momento para reunirse con amigos, tanto viejos como nuevos, y compartir historias de increíbles paseos y caídas inolvidables.
